To St Anne’s pupils

Éire Óg is the GAA  Club for St Anne’s school. Most of our juvenile players are currently at the school or have been through it.  We have football and hurling teams at all ages from Under 6 right up to senior  and we are looking for new players, both boys and girls, to play in our various teams.


At  present in conjunction  with the Ulster Council we are running a  GAA accredited Fundamentals  programme for Primary 1- 5’s.  So if your child is interested in football or hurling why not come along.  Football is  on a Tuesday night,  between  6.30 – 7.30 and hurling is on a Thursday night 6.30 -7.30 both  at Woodlands  (Finaghy Road North)   For more information ring SEAN MC KENNA ON 07894305884.


Coaching is also on for every age group on Saturday mornings at Woodlands  between 10.30 – 12.00.   

 

Antrm GAA Open Night

Next Friday the 11th May every county in Ireland will host an open night in advance of the forthcoming Championships.

At Casement Park we will open the gates to allow fans - young and old - to meet the Antrim hurling and football squads, pit their skills against county players and get their autographs and photograohs.

Gaeltacht Grants

The County may be awarding some grants (usually about £60) for any under 14s attending Gaeltacht courses this summer.  If your child is  going to the Gaeltacht and would like to apply for the grant email details including name, date of birth and course details including date and place to secretary.eireog.antrim@gaa.ie

 

NOTE this is only available to fully registered and paid members of the club.

Eire Og Annual Nite at the Races

Attention all Ogs
 
Eire Og is holding its annual Nite at the Races and Disco on 27th April in the Kings Head.
 
It is still possible to buy a horse at £10, jockey at £10 or race at £50.
 
This year we are charging an admission fee of £2.50 which will gain automatic entry to a prize draw although purchase of one of the above will give you free entry.
 
Please support your club!  Speak to one of the coaches on Saturday when you are dropping the kids off at training and buy your tickets then.  You can't miss us-look for the Nite at the Races stand in the car park!
 
Invite your friends and family.  It promises to be a great night out!

Éire Óg Seniors Venue Change

Éire Ógs Senior All County Division 4 game against St. Pauls this Sunday (15th April) at 1:30pm has been changed to Boucher Road, Belfast.

Could all Seniors please pass this on. Also, remember that a light training session will take place this Saturday (14th April) at 2pm in Woodlands.
