Niall Cochrane – Senior Football of the Year

Ciaran McAreavey – Most Improved Footballer of the Year

Paul Taggart – South Antrim Player of the Year

Anthony Donnelly – Clubman of the Year

It will be mandatory to use a mouthguard in all football matches and training sessions from January 1st 2013 (for all age grades up to and including minor) and at U21 and Adult level from January 1st 2014

These are worn to protect teeth etc just like the ones that boxers wear. It would be a good idea for parents to put one these into your child’s christmas stocking. You can get them in most sports shops

Matt Fitzpatrick RIP

Éire Óg Doíre Achaídh would like to express their sincere condolences to the family of Matt Fitzpatrick who recently passed away following a short illness . Matt played for the Ógs for many years and was great stalwart of our club .   He will be particularly missed by our club President, Matt Morgan,  with whom he played alongside for many years.

Last Call for Éire Óg Anniversary Dinner Dance Tickets

Eire Og 80th Anniversary Celebration Dinner and Dance at The Emerald Road House Friday 2nd November 2012 Ticket Priced at £20 each
To All Parents/Guardians/Members/Past Members
To celebrate Eire Og's 80th Anniversary we have organised a dinner (3 course meal) and disco at the Emerald Road House on Friday 2 November at 8pm.

Tickets are £20 each and are will be available for purchase at the following training times this week.
Thursday Night
Hurling training from 7pm - 8pm in St Annes Parish Hall and Rathmore from
8pm to 9pm.
Saturday Morning
Woodlands from 10am.
All monies for tickets must be recieved by Saturday 20th October at the latest as we need to confirm numbers with the Emerald Roadhouse.
Remember - this is your club. Your support is vital. But most important is your attendance too, so please show your support and encourage family and friends to attend for what promises to be a great night.
