Éire Óg: 75 Club

A Chara,

As President of the Club I am writing to you as a current or indeed past player, parent of one of our juveniles, or just a club supporter to encourage you to join our  ‘75 club’ – some of you may recall the ‘200’ club that the club ran  successfully some years ago, This will be run on the same basis.   What we are planning to do is invite 75 people to contribute £5 per month, by direct debit, to enter into a monthly draw in which the following prizes will be awarded.

First prize £75;Second £50;Third £25;Fourth £15, Fifth £10.

This gives you a 1:15 chance of winning every month. First draw will be in April 2010

Your £5 direct debit will also give you membership of the club – (currently priced at £15 pa for non playing members).I appreciate that in the current economic climate times are difficult, however joining the ‘75  club’  works out at about  £1 per week. For the club this will provide us with a regular  monthly income of nearly £200 per month – which will be of significant assistance to us –particularly as we do not currently have any club sponsors.

As I am sure you are aware the club is going from strength to strength. At juvenile level our numbers at football and hurling are increasing,  indeed recently we won the Pat Rice indoor hurling tournament. Encouragingly, our minors are now progressing through to senior football with some of them playing a key role in helping the seniors gain promotion to Division 3 last year.

I would encourage you and indeed any of your friends or family to join the ‘75 club’. If you wish to join please complete the attached bank mandate (we will fill in club bank details)  and membership form and return it to me at

13 St Agnes Drive

BT11 8GZ.

Similarly, pass this on to any ex members for whom you have contact details.

Is mise le buíochas

Matt Morgan
